love the new index layout, its vv nice with the green and pink (<-- green enjoyer. shaking ur hand in diplomacy), and love the idea of a featured picture, and the current pic is actually super fitting to the layout (plus the artstyle is SICK). definitely a huge upgrade from the old layout :-)

If I may make a suggestion (I do hope that I'm not being annoying): I saw you talking about a lagging problem. I'm gonna link you to two different code snippets that both do the same thing: it gives the viewer the ability to toggle gifs on and off. This is GREAT for increasing loading speeds and preventing lag. And, as a bonus, it also makes your site more accessible!

I'd also advise possibly adding a 'pause' / 'play' trigger to the scrolling stamps and buttons, because that could also be slowing your page down.

I hope my advice isn't unwarranted or a bother! Just saw you trying to fix a problem in the 'last update' section and thought I'd provide my knowledge.
